Yummy Cakes!!!

 would you like to have one??? or for your little one??? here is one simple recipe for you... so lets start.. with BAKED ALASKA BIRTHDAY CAKE

SERVES 6

 20cm SOFT SPONGE FLAN CAKE

350g raspberry jam 

225g raspberries 

4 egg whites

255g granulated sugar

8 scoops vanilla or your favourite ice cream

candles or sparkles,to decorate

1- Preheat oven to 220 degrees celsius/425 degrees fahrenheit/ gas mark 7.

2- Spread the bottom of the flan case with the jam and arrange the raspberries on top.

3- Put the egg whites in a large clean bowl and whisk until stiff peaks form. Beat in the sugar,a spoonful at a time.

4- Put scoops of ice cream over the raspberries to cover. Spread the meringue mixture over the ice cream and side of the sponge so everything is covered.

5- Bake in the oven for 8-10 mins. Remove from the oven. Decorate with candles or sparkles and serve immediately.
